To the best of my knowledge (and for the purposes of this review it's limited) Moes is a chain of burrito spots in Florida. My friends who brought me here told me it was a must have. I had the burrito with chicken and beef and my own order of their in house made tortilla chips and salsa. All in all there wasn't anything stand out about the food, but it tasted as it should and did the job. Definitely what you would expect. Protip - avoid arriving at this location for lunch if possible. There must have been a Highschool in the area and the line up was intense.

If you like real burritos and you're in Boca Raton, this is the place to eat! Moe's Southwest Grill is my "go-to" restaurant whenever I am hungry. This location is very nice, quiet and clean with a great atmosphere. Located right off of Glades Road in Boca Raton, it's simple to find right off of I-95. The food quality is what you would expect from any Moe's Southwest Grill: fresh, delicious and made to order just the way you like it. The staff is very friendly at this location. This is probably one of the better locations I have visited in Florida. I order a Joey Steak with extra rice and queso. It was perfect. I loved every bite of it. The staff made it exactly as I asked them to make it. I was very happy. I had friends visiting from out of town who had never experienced Moe's burritos. They had a very easy time choosing from the menu and finding exactly what they wanted to eat, with help from myself and the staff, of course. We stayed for a few hours until closing and the staff never once complained. They quietly cleaned the restaurant and got their work done while we enjoyed our time chatting. It was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely return.

I used to frequent this location all the time back in the day (2005 - 2009). Recently, it lost its charm. The least of the problems was that nobody said "Welcome to Moe's". The workers treat the place like it is a job. Meanwhile, the supervisor breathes heavily behind the careless workers and tries to upsell you on queso. The salsa stand sits with an empty bowl left unnoticed. The culture that once made Moe's a college joint is gone. The work morale is gone. Taco Prince is way better!

I really wanted to love this location since I'm always in the area but like previous posters have mentioned this place is just Blah!! Compared to other locations it's lacking. Guys working here should try to SMILE? Be friendly! Moes is expensive for what it is. Jr burrito (chicken add bacon) Combo (drink and cheese sauce) Chips and Salsa $12.xx The food is OK but the service is awful. Sorry.

This place has continued to go downhill over the years. I gave it a final try today because I had a free entree with purchase of a drink for my birthday. Upon arrival there is absolutely no parking whatsoever, which starts your experience on a stressful note. They no longer say "Welcome to Moe's" when you enter the restaurant either. The food looks very dried out and the rice is really bland and flavorless. I got a burrito and got up to pay and gave my coupon which then spouted an argument because I ordered a side of queso and also got it in my burrito, but in the past it was always charged as one side. So they tried to charge me for two sides and I explained to the manager my misunderstanding based on the past and he basically gave me a dirty look and said that not the policy. So I had to insist he take one of the queso sides off my bill and with a great deal of hesitation he agreed to take the $1 off my bill. What a horribly rude establishment who does not care about food quality, customer service, attitude or anything. I will be bringing my business elsewhere!

I'm a big fan of their awesome food however I had a big problem with the service I received here. I had a large order to fill for 5 people and the people making the food were incredibly rude and made the portions of the food small on purpose and were giving me an attitude the whole time. I also attempted to use the rest of a gift card and pay the rest with cash and the cashier made it seem like paying with two methods was so incredibly difficult. Final words: food is great and inexpensive but unless there is new staff...don't bother going here!!

I've been going here on and off for years and today will more than likely be my very last time. Over the years I've seen this place decrease in patrons rapidly either due to the poor quality service they now have or the low quality of food. Today the employees were ruder than ever and the lettuce was legitimately brown. Disgusting, must better options around.

Went in at lunch time and there wasn't even a line.... Ended up standing in line for 15 minutes just because there was no sense of urgency and it was absolutely ridiculous. Ended up wasting 20 minutes of my lunch break just standing in line watching them do nothing. The food is good but the staff sucks.

Much to my surprise, I had never been to a Moe's, favoring instead the Chipotle across the street. It was a very good experience and I look forward to returning. Not sure what the need is to yell loudly "welcome to Moe's" but they do. They have a wide selection of ingredients to custom build your taco, burritos or bowls-like Chipotle. I do like they have tofu available, though I would grill it better than what was available when I went. I'll definitely be back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
